hello , to cut to the chase..i live in the expensive city of San Diego , and I've been living in apartments my whole life. My Dad has a separate apartment in the complex one block away from us where he also has his home office. He makes pretty good money , and my mom helps him aswell.. as a secretary. But she is a Dentist in Mexico too , except she left that job to be here with me and my sister. anyway , in my apartment it's me , my sister , and my mom. it's one bedroom and me and my sister share a room , and my mom sleeps on the coach. I'm sick of this lifestyle because i know we can afford a house and not have to live like this. I don't want to get picked up for from living in apartments... and i want to be able to have slumber parties and everything. But my dad is just too stubborn and won't give in. I want change. I want to call the bank and ask them for a Bank Loan so my dad can buy a house but I really don't know what to do or what I'm getting myself into. What do i do?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Get a job and save your money and plan on buying your way out. I doubt if the issue with your parents has to do with money, so trying to arrange for them to get a bank loan will not work. They simply do not like the concept of living in a house.

You can not apply for a loan in another person's name for any reason even research. It is called freud and identity theft. This is punishable felony that can send you to prison for up to 20 years. You also cannot apply for a loan if you are under 18.You have to have 2 years rental history in your name and 2 years employment/ student (college) history.You will need a down payment of at least 5%-10%.
