So we're moving pretty soon...we've planned for everything...college..jobs have been transfered..our budget for the next 3 months...everything..but we always figured one of his parents would co-sign an 8,000 dollar loan we planned to take out to pay for the move and bills and school...turns out they wont. So we tried ourselves but we dont have enough credit. My father is already co-signer of my car loan (selling the car is not an option its too vital to us..and we have nothing else worth more then a few hundred).. and my mother abandoned me 6 years ago..We dont know of any other options. We doubt we could get a credit card with that high of credit limit..plus we havent really heard any good stories that come from credit card customers.. We tried lotto...but sadly we just stop when we break even >.> I felt so desperate i even looked up selling eggs or sperm and otther organs! (No...not an option for us) So please..what else can we do?? Please help! We appreciate your time...

One of both of you need to get a a 2nd job. There have been several times where I (when i was single)needed extra income and I would get a part time job. Work the 2nd job for 6 months pay off what ever bills you have and then put a little money aside and then quit and go back to working one job. If there are 2 of you then I would say one of you get a 2nd job depending on how fast you need to get the money together. If you need the money sooner then both of you work 2nd jobs. Also start cutting back get rid of cable tv dont have a home phone only use cell phones. Consider getting a 1 bedroom apartment instead of a 2 bedroom. Put any extra stuff into storage. Then in a years time when your lease is up you save up and move into a bigger place. Or you might be able to talk your landlord into a 6 month lease or ask if he has any tenents that are trying to get out of there lease and can you take over the remaining etc. Also look at renting a cheap trailer. While I dont like them if I ever had a bad turn of luck I would move into one in a heartbeat if it meant I could save to get back on my feet. Look at getting a cheaper place. Its just a fact of life that when relocating to a new area not everyone can afford to live in the nicest part of town. Now I an not saying to try and live in the worst part of town but keep you options open and there are places in every town that are less expensive. Every one has at one time or another lived somewhere they were not proud of . Just keep in mind that sometimes you have to take a step back in order to get ahead. I had a married friend in a similar situation who because of pride (I am not living in a trailer or living in that area) ended up having financial problems because he and his wife would not live in a particular area where the rent was cheaper because they had to live in a particular area of town and that apartment complex was beneath them. Only after having one of there cars repoed and having to drive get another car that was a pos did they start living within ther means. After there least they ended up in the area they did not want to live in and 8 months later they saved enough and were able to get the house and car that they had wanted from the start. If they had of listened to what myself and other had told them instead of 3 year they would have been buying their house within 2 year.

What's the rush? You sound desperate. Look on Craig's list. Maybe you two can move into a room until you can afford what you really want. Do you really want to sell your body parts? Do you really want a credit card to go into debt? Money is a major reason couples break up.

Instead of a job, have you considered some sort of home-based business to earn some additional income? It would allow you to be a little more flexible with your school schedule. As another poster suggested, try to cut back on your expenses as much as possible - maybe looking at less expensive housing.
